PANNZ ARTS MARKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
About these terms
In these terms, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’, refers to the Performing Arts Market of New Zealand (‘PANNZ’) annual Arts Market (as well as its employees, agents, officers and directors), while ‘you’ refers to delegates of the PANNZ annual Arts Market.
By registering to attend the PANNZ Arts Market you agree to be bound by all of the provisions of these terms.
Fees, Payment and Registration
- Arts Market Delegate Registration may not be exchanged, resold and will not be refunded.
- The registration fee to attend the Arts Market covers the entire event. There will be no reduction in the fee if you choose to attend only part of the event.
- Should the Arts Market not be able to go ahead, there will be no refund, as we will deliver this at another time of year.
- Unless where communicated with delegates, the registration fee does not include any travel to events within the Arts Market or accommodation during the Arts market.
- You are only eligible for the reduced Independent artists and producers fee if you are not employed/contracted by companies that receive Investment Funding from CNZ under the Toi Tōtara Haemata and Toi Uru Kahikatea programmes. All other delegates must pay the full fee.
- Once you have registered online an invoice will be sent to you. You must make payment by the date set out in the invoice.
- You will not be able to attend the Arts Market if we have not received payment for your registration.
Digital Platform Permissions and Rights
- You must have the rights to use any content that you (or someone on your behalf) uploads to the ARts Front Digital Platform (the platform used for the PANNZ Arts Market.)
- You will be responsible for securing these rights, and if you do not secure the rights then you will be personally liable. PANNZ is committed to protecting the income of all artists, which includes the assurance that all who we work with are aware of their obligations to pay royalties or secure the rights of content created by others.

- In registering as a delegate for the PANNZ Arts market you agree that the information you submit will be available to other delegates via PANNZ Arts Market Digital Platform (Arts Front). You also agree that any media you supply may be recorded and distributed via the platform during and after the PANNZ Arts Market, along with any events you participate in (both live and online - via Zoom, for example) that take place over the course of the PANNZ Arts Market, and you have the correct permissions and rights contained within your content.
This will be for the purpose of advocating the work for presentation opportunities and will be available to registered PANNZ Arts Market delegates, which will be available on the platform for up to one year. Please note: While your information and media will be available during and after the market, you are able to log on to the PANNZ Arts Market Digital Platform at any time and edit, update or delete your profile and any other information you have provided.
In Person Market & Performances
- You attend all events associated with the PANNZ Arts Market at your own risk and we are not responsible for any loss you incur or injury you suffer as a result of or in connection with acquiring this registration or attending the Arts Market event to which it relates.
- The organisers reserve the right to substitute items in the programme including performers, musicians or other artists should those advertised not be able to take part for any reason.
Amendments to Terms and Conditions
The provisions of these terms and conditions may be amended from time to time at our discretion. You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with any changes that may be made.
